Can you love someone who is nothing like your ex?

I’m Asian/white and very insecure. This boy I love keeps talking about his ex, and when I saw her pictures, my heart stopped. She is thin, red haired, blue eyed, with full lips and beautiful makeup. This boy likes every sexy post of her, commenting and dmming each other with cute videos and inside jokes. He said they’re best friends, and that he’s over her, so I asked him out, and he agreed! But keeps talking about his ex, and worse, he said he’s still not sure if he likes me, and wants to casually date me so he can “f—k me until he figures out he loves me.” I’m heartbroken. He’s still talking about his ex, and it makes me hate myself even more. She reminds me of a young Marilyn Monroe, and seeing her makes me hate my mixed features. Can guys ever love someone who doesn’t look like their ex? What if they’re a different race than your ex? Is it okay that I don’t post sexy photos of myself? I don’t want to be the most beautiful woman in the world…I just want to be HIS beautiful woman. If he doesn’t find me as attractive as his ex, I feel so heartbroken. I feel like I’m just another option, and there’s always better women around.
