Do you think you are lovable?

Question

I am looking at my old photos on Instagram, and for the first time in a long time, I saw myself from another person’s eye,

I was quite lovable,

I am no longer surprised why people liked me.

I think I was very cute.

Not sure for now, but seeing my pics and the character in them, I feel like I’d love that person had I known her in my life.

I seem to be to some but it always kind of amazes me each time. I don't see myself as so lovable. I have the curse of being left with my wacky thoughts and being able to read my own mind and knowing every single thing I ever do including every single time I ever misbehave.

I have a self-loathing inner voice that always to say, "You're such an idiot!" However, it doesn't get me down because I have another one and a dialogue which says, "You're such a genius!" The two sort of fight with each other a lot and I largely end up staying all cheerful: I'm an idiot, I'm a genius, I'm an idiot. Oh well, whatever! Let's have fun.

But I do think the "You're an idiot," is more correct than the other, and it's often a mystery to me why my wife and friends stick around for all these years.

Nah, not a way in hell (a. k. a. this world). I'm too timid, awkward and insecure. My substandard height and non-perfect skin are also a bit of a problem. Though... I guess the latter only make me non-desirable, if not for the mentality issues, I might as well be loveable. Though given what's my vision of an alternative for being timid, awkward and insecure... I'd rather stay with my current flaws.

Yes, do believe I'm lovable 💖 When I was 9 or 10 I didn't think I was lovable and felt ashamed of who I thought I was. I see pictures from that age of me and realize that I was just a little girl who was loved but didn't believe she was lovable. I would talk to that little girl in the picture and tell her what happened to her wasn't her fault, and tell her I loved her. I too scared to tell my parents what happened so I believed I was a horrible person. I now know I was worthy of love back then, I just didn't believe it.

No, not at all, lol.

Not being callous or harsh on myself, I just see myself as how I am: I'm an average looking (at best) person that's full of flaws, but does her best to be a decent person and be there for her friends and family. I can be nice, and caring as need be, but I also realize I can pull away or annoy people that get on my bad side, or I'm wary of trusting...

So no, loveable is a stretch. More like... I'm me.

No, not really. I'm far too cynical and sceptical of the motives of others. It isn't easy for me to trust people, and that's one of the reasons why I tend to keep my distance from them, so that makes me about as "lovable" as a cactus.

I am definitely not a great looking guy from a body view point but I am very handsome. I am not bragging and some may think this is low but I have had sex with 22 women. There have been some long dry periods and others where it seemed like I couldn't miss. I am definitely lovable but women don't see it in me because they look at appearances, wealth and status.

Yes, but I get imposter syndrome very easily. Especially since I had a long phase of being ugly & annoying as a kid. So, many treated me as anyone would treat an ugly annoying kid.
