You'd expect to see them overrepresented on dating apps. First of all, a lot of people are overweight these days and women who aren't fat get plenty of male attention elsewhere. And it's actually a good strategy for young women who are overweight to get on dating apps- they get a lot of male attention there.

I've met a lot of overweight women who have really good personalities. And the sex with them is still very good. I wouldn't write off a woman who is overweight and not obese- she might be a good woman to date.

In direct response to your update: I think the “body positivity” movement is disgusting. We should not endorse a unhealthy lifestyle just because somebody wants to feel the satisfaction of being told they are healthy. It is the lifestyle version of a participation trophy. I run a team that requires a high physical standard. We have a PFQ that is a solid, hard, test with a 22min cutoff. When I, at age 51, can pass this test under limit - but 25yr olds trying out cannot…it says a lot about them and I. I push hard all the time. I can speak about stats for the USA, not world-wide. Believe it or not, medical obesity hit 42% in 2020 in the USA. I haven't seen updated figures for 2023 yet. If you figure out what percentage of the dating population that represents, divide it in half, it's probably not a large number, "in total". However, dating sites for people your age are used by those who just want to hook-up or who can't find dates otherwise, and the generally accepted, attractive, in-shape girls don't have trouble finding dates. The overweight to obese unattractive girls do, so what do they have to lose by posting.

I will say this, most of the guys hating on fat girls are themselves, damn ugly or unattractive.

Because fat girls aren't as desirable as normal size girls, so they get on dating sites hoping to find a normal size attractive man who might fall for them. They are in dream land, because the dating site is also full of fat fuckin undesirable men hopinog to find a beauty queen that might fall for them.
