Why guys don’t ask girls to be their girlfriend?

I’m 26 and never have a boyfriend, boys talk to me but no guy asks to be my boyfriend, so I’m always sad and confused, wondering what are we? When are we going to meet family? Can I take a picture with him as a couple? Etc.

the only guy I have met that asked me to be his girlfriend fast was a guy in Ireland that I met on a dating app. And in 7 months of texting he almost came to visit me to meet my family & spend class with me but I ended things as my mom didn’t want me live in Ireland neither did I want fly 15 hrs by plane. He was a good guy but I wasn’t attracted to him sexually but would of met him if he was closer.

Women tend to think guys are psychos, sickos, perverts or just assholes in general (Every woman's dream guy!!) Guys have already been shown this for a long time! So, they've come to the conclusion it's hardly even worth trying. On top of that, they've already got the stigmata that they feel that, if she's gorgeous, she MUST already have at LEAST ONE boyfriend and several more waiting in the wings so, she'd never look twice at HIM! So, that's already lowered his chances of taking the risk to ask her to be his girlfriend.
These days, it's more of the woman's job to select the guy she wants to be with but, they've also been taught that it's up to men to ask so, it becomes a stalemate! Guys don't wanna risk it and girls think it's a man's job to do the asking. So, nobody asks and nobody gets lucky!

Of course, You are not a man, but the punchline still fits in a twisted way. The point is, a tiny subgroup of men out there will not ask You to become their girlfriend because they know they can probably have their way with You anyway (and if they're wrong, they don't care, as they can always move on to one they can have their way with easily), and the rest knows that if they try asking You to be their girlfriend, they risk sexual harassment charges that will ruin their life, and even if they don't face these charges, they are highly unlikely to succeed in asking You out anyway. That's why Your attitude is the solution. You'll have to behave in a healthy, feminine fashion - put up barriers against the first, tiny subgroup (unless You are fine with their ideas about You), but at the same time, be gentle and caring with the rest of the men. Once You find a man that does not belong to that first group, but You can still feel Yourself being sexually attracted to Him, lead Him on with gentle hints. Make Him trust You and believe His chances with You. Be gentle, caring and make Your presence soothing for Him. Don't tease Him aggressively, as it will only be more suspicious. Make Him feel safe with You. That's a bit tough since men are under a constant threat of persecution in the Western societies at all times (unless they beling to that particular subgroup), so Him getting used to the idea that He can trust You will take time and effort, and a lot of them. Still, that's the only viable solution.

Come on. Repeating the question in so many ways to express your frustration of being 26 and never had a boyfriend is not going to solve anything. If you are seeking validation to justify why this has happened so far, you won't find it.

Guys and girls ask all the time to be each others girl vs boyfriends. Otherwise there would be plenty of singles in the world and no one in relationships.

If you want a boyfriend, go and find yourself one. Go on dates, speed dates, their are plenty of dating apps, travel elsewhere to seek the right one, create a bunch of online profile on dating sites and put yourself out there. Most sites are totally free for women. Seek out to friends and see if they have singles within their groups and seek out men.

Don't wait around talking constantly about that crush that never came around and when it does you waved and nothing happened. You need to transform your life than sit around and complain why things aren't happening for you.
