It's be more concerned with the condition of his car. Does he take care of it's maintenance? Clean it? Vacuum too? Those are more telling than brand even.

Agreed, the level of care is more important than what it is, people who tend to let their vehicle go all to crap, is somewhat of an outlook on their lifestyle. It shows that you work for your belongings and take care of them which suggests you are a responsible adult.

I wouldn’t care. As long as the guy has a job or is in school idc how much money he has. (Though tbh I’m just starting college in the fall myself so even if I were single I probably wouldn’t be dating somebody who has a full time job right now. I’m talking about when I’m finished with school and I have one myself.)

After a very bad relationship that left me with no money and no car for a while, I managed to scrape enough for a £300 ugly old brown car. That car saved me 90 minutes in travel time going to work and back a day!

When I had bit more money I slapped some fire stickers on it and a dragon on the bonnet. I was proud of that ugly little car!

Now I drive a £3000 car...

I'm the same "quality" of person now as then... just hopefully a bit more wiser relationship wise? Well. Working on it.

If the girl was driving an old car, it could be due to financial situation, bad planning, sentimental value, or just used to driving it for so long, just doesn’t want to waste money on a new one.
If she were driving a beat up car I’d be thinking that girl doesn’t care who judges, she does what needs to be done to get around so probably has a lot of self confidence, I’m in xD

I always used my pickup for the first few dates.
I never let on to what I had, houses or vee hickles.
It wasn't really old, clean, dependable.
That way I figured she liked me for me, not what she thought I had.
I prefer it that way, I'm not interested in a "gold digger"
