Why are guys more willing to date single mothers in real life but there are forums online where men mostly say they won't date single mothers?

Simple logistics.

There are more single mothers than non single mothers now. The ratio of women to men in the general population is pretty close to 1 to 1. Which means if some guys want to date, they're going to HAVE TO settle for a single mom. That's just REALITY. Doesn't mean the like it. They just don't b**** about it IRL.

Kind of like this other statistic. 60% of men cheat. Again, like it not some women to date are going to have to tolerate a man who cheats. Doesn't mean they like it. And they may or may not b**** about it IRL.

I'm not sure that seems to be the case on the Internet. I don't like the men who shit on single mothers and say hateful things about them, but I do think a lot of men find that single mother's are less desirable for them.

But like you, I do know some men IRL who have/are dating single moms. I'm glad there are some men that will give them a chance.
