Never Invited Over His Place?

Hey guys as the title reveals this dude I’ve been talking to for one year has never invited me over to his place! We have been texting for one year but actually met in person 2 months ago. Everytime we have met up it has been out somewhere which is fine I just felt like if this dude was trying to take me more seriously why wouldn’t he be trying to bring me home? He did say once he would get a hotel for us to spend the night together? After that I’m freaked out and have a bad feeling he may be with someone. Why spend money on a hotel if you could just bring me home? I don’t want to seem that I’m eager to sleep with him but we have spoke about being together for so long I don’t know what ya guys think? As much as I like him this is screaming red flag

So where is this going and where would you like it to go? It doesn’t take a year for a guy to know whether or not he wants to be with you, and you seem to be under the presumption that this is heading somewhere. Realistically there’s no good reason for him not to invite you over unless he were hiding something and that something could be you. Maybe it’s time to not be so timid about a conversation and ask what’s going on.
