She probably feels like she needs someone who can understand her and relate to her better. Someone who’s gone through things similar to what she’s gone through.

I wonder what was said before that. Because she's either saying you have trauma and she has the habit of picking guys with trauma. Or she playing the victim saying she has trauma and she's needs a guy with trauma as well so he can understand her.

Either way it's not a good thing for her to say. It sounds like she did you a favor by leaving dude.
