Funny, I don't even have a physical description of my ideal woman. I know what kind of personality she'll have (in a very vague way. A type.).

I couldn't give two shits about her homemaking skills. I mean that it's not something I ever included in any thought of an ideal woman.

I do agree, that if it's as you say... it's very transactional.

But I think it's highly dependent on the particular guy. Maybe even dependent on where the guy is in life (an 18 year old kid vs a 35 year old man).

I am inclined to think that certain types of guys; with a certain view about women and what relatioships area about would answer the way you described.

I don't think I'm alone in being an outlier. I think this may be less universal that it seems to you. Or maybe I'm totally wrong, and this is indeed how most guys would answer. I guess we'll see. Good question!
