Zero luck on apps-I am told I am cute/attractive often but really am curious. Do I pass the ‘dateable’ looks bar to you?

This is just assuming personality lined up and worldviews etc, would you find how I look attractive enough to date,

I’m very social, active, but zero luck in dating. I have some women into me that I’m not reciprocal of their interest but otherwise it’s just been rejection. I swipe right on maybe 1/5 profiles so I’m selective but it’s hundreds of swipes and very very few matches. So I’m just trying to gauge where I stand since I’m frequently told I’m handsome by seemingly non biased sources but dating doesn’t line up that way for me.

Yes, you are averagely good looking in my books. Provided you had a really attractive personality, it would be a match. But without that attractive personality, I wouldn’t date you. For majority of women, personality is the key factor. So perhaps your problem isn’t your looks, but what’s inside? Could be incompatible with the women you seek out.

Hmm.. I’m confused. Averagely and ‘good looking’ really don’t go in the same sentence in my mind. Am I just average or “solidly good looking without being a model”? Is that what you mean by average? Because I wouldn’t say any girl I’m attracted to is average at all-but I also don’t think most of them are model tier looking either. Still 7/8 probably (I hate numbers but you get it) to my tastes anyway.

And I’m very outgoing and social etc. only want something legit but I’ve got to be attracted to them and I can’t fake that. It’s there or it’s not.

And maybe I didn’t articulate well. To me average is not attractive I guess. Like to date someone I have to feel they stand out physically and most also feel that way.

But at the same time most women I’m attracted to are ‘girl next door’ cute, slim/in shape with cute faces, and not crazy insane models etc. is that what you mean by averagely attractive? Or do you genuinely just mean average 5/10 average?

Averagely as in total average looking guy or averagely good looking as in “vanilla handsome” but above average?

Nowhere else to meet women outside cold approaches. I live far from all my old friends. My family is mostly deceased. And I’m established in my job so done with education. I’ve joined clubs etc but no women I’m attracted to in any of those circles
