We've been together for 7 years on and off, we always come back together like there's always reason to come back, even though in the past we have dates other people and me got engaged in the pats but broke up and we got back together again.. so after 5 months we separated he finally reached out to me sending a screenshot like a proof about something that he actually never forgets about me.. we talked a lot but now he's no longer want to open up about his feelings.. we will meet again next month.. he said he can't wait to meet me.. sometimes he told me like "take care of your health don't be too tired" or "did you go out for the coffee with a lot of guys?😏" Like I don't know what does it mean.. so guys maybe you can help me

From what I read, you 2 are not made for each other since you have been unable to keep this relationship working. Being on and off intermittently is not what I would consider a working relationship. It seems that there are way too issues that need to be addressed, mainly about the feelings, the trust and a plethora of other potential problems.

Trying to reach out is one thing but wanting honestly to work on that relationship is a different issue altogether. Saying sorry or being superficial with statements like "did you go out for coffee with a lot of guys" simply means that he is inquiring whether you are intimate with someone else.

I believe that it is important to talk but I fear that the state in which this on-off relation is, is too far gone to be mended. You are better off starting all over with someone you can trust and that will not leave you in the dark for a few months and come back when he thinks that he may have another chance at fornicating with you.
