Absolutely not. I’m neither an idiot nor a masochist. Furthermore, i don’t want kids so badly that i would sacrifice myself for other people’s children in that way.
Contrary to the popular feminist myth, women cannot “have it all”. Men have had to sacrifice quality time with their families to protect and provide since the dawn of civilization.
Now consider the single mother scenario. She has to work. She has to take care of her kids. She has to manage some sort of personal time and space, and get adequate sleep; which has been suggested that women need more than men.
If you’re a self respecting man and understand how the world works, choosing to be with a single mother means demanding that she prioritize you into her life in some fashion. If she does that, you’re the reason she’s not a good mother, or the reason she’s punishing herself for trying to achieve an unrealistic goal. What if she doesn’t prioritize you? You’re constantly getting put off or abandoned outright. You’re sacrificing your own self respect just for the attention of a woman who has yet to prove she’s worth it.
There’s literally no upside. The only dudes who get with single mothers are halfwits or masochists. Which is fine. Halfwits and masochists have the same rights to pursue happiness as everyone else.

Nah. Properly her focus will be on the children, so not much on you and you will be raising some other guys kids instead of your own. And you will be spending a lot of money on them. They are not going to be her cost alone.

Depending on how many there are she might not be willing to have your baby if you really want one.

And they will still divorce you even though you have been a good guy. In fact you might just get less time as women are child cycle driven in divorce.

Single moms are only suitable for divorced fathers. Not for never married or divorced men without children.

Why is she a Single Mother? Was her fault in the relationship/marriage? Was His fault? If she couldn't keep her 1st because was her fault, then No! But if she's gone through hard times because her SO start drinking, abusing her, then i guess she Deserves a Second chance to Happiness..🤷‍♂️

If we get along and she's a good person, I wouldn't be against it. But the dealbreaker is her relationship to her children. She has to be a good mother and have raised her children to be good people. If she views her kids as a nuisance and as a source of welfare checks, I'm out. I'm not even going to do it with her. She's not worth the time.

When i was young it would be a hard pass , mostly because the kids would be little and in need of s lot of attention and I would not be interested in raising another mans kids.
Now that I am older i would be more open to it if the kids were older like in high school.

date cause that can be a one time thing i never have to do again. simply cause: why would i take responsibility for her and another mans mistake by marrying her? or does the father of the child have the custody so it's not there most of the time anyway? then i might consider it.

Not a first choise obviously. You expect him to raise your kid like they would be his , right? So he invest time and money to them and if things between you and him does not work out anymore, then he can't see the kid either anymore, right? So for guy its ALWAYS one leg out the door.

Date yes, I have done so in the past and it was ok, marry her though when she had so much to say about a house I wanted to buy was a massive red flag.

It was fine, and we got along just fine.
As long as they kids aren't being used like pawns between the parents then it is just fine.
Otherwise it can be too much drama.
