u 6 moYep, sure do and it was with my now wife.
We were coworkers at the time and I asked her out after getting to know her a bit. We worked a late shift and got out at like 1 or 2 am so the only thing really open was a Denny's restaurant.
So, we were walking in a dark parking lot on the way to my jeep which was an older model and had to be opened manually with a key of course. I hand her my keys to use as a safety precaution in case we were attacked at all and when we got to the car, she opened her side. Now you would think she would get in and open my door for me, but no, she instead yells "catch" and throws my keys over the roof of the jeep. Remember this is a dark parking lot, so it made it really hard to see and the keys hit me square in the eye making it hard to see for a bit.
Skip forward to the restaurant and we start talking and place our orders. Hers comes out wrong and, her being a country girl through and through, starts to get rowdy about it. Im more the passive type so I'm just sinking into my chair hoping the yelling would end soon. We did actually talk some more and the more I got to know her, the more interested I became (plus it didn't hurt that she was the prettiest girl I had ever seen). I instantly knew I wanted a second date with her despite the things that went wrong.20 Reply

6 moSo not really a date date but a meeting up and hanging out for the first time thing, I was 18.
He was not even my type but he had beautiful blue-greenish eyes and I was like "what could go wrong, maybe I might like him" ... he was awful!
He was talking about how much of an alpha he is, and saying "we could go to his place but I had to clean his room first" 🤮 I told him my opinion and I stopped our walk in the first 5 mins and went home!
Sadly I did run into him a few times more, he saw me at the bus once and tried sitting next to me, I told him to get lost. Once he came up to me in the train telling me like he understood that I wanted something casual and that I'm sleeping around and stuff and mind you, I was a virgin to that time and the last time was in the club, he saw me and came to me, acting like I wanted something from him but thankfully a guy I was dating back then put him in his place and after that I thankfully never saw him again. So it took a man, to stop him smh10 Reply

u 6 moWhen it comes to first dates, I'd actually had it pretty good.
There was one girl I went out with in 2016. The date was just... awkward. A lot of lengthy silences and stuff.
The first date with my wife was the day after a huge, HUGE thunderstorm that knocked out power for most of the city. It was a Sunday. We went to Mass and then we were going to go out for bagels and coffee afterwards. The place I wanted to go was closed because they didn't have power. So we went to another coffee shop. They were closed because they didn't have any power. So we went to a Denny's. It smelled disgusting, was somehow still crowded, and was in a bit of a sketchy area. But we eventually did find a coffee shop that was up and running. It was basically the "building a castle in a swamp" scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail 😄
A year and a half later, we were engaged and then got married six months later.

6 moI've told this story before.
After my divorce, I met this woman online. She had pretty profile pictures. We chatted online and agreed to meet for dinner at a Chinese restaurant near where she lived. I got there early. She arrived 30 minutes late, wearing tiny pink shorts and bra on her grossly obese body, nothing like her profile pictures. Before saying Hi, she blurted out, "My pussy is so wet." In shock, I didn't say anything, just got up and left. Shortest date I ever had

6 moWent to dinner with a guy, he took me to a cuban restaurant that I told him I love. The food isn't spicy to me but he seemed to think it was. After dinner we were going to dance (the restaurant has a bar and dancefloor) he said he wasn't feeling well and asked if we could call it a night and go out again another time. I agreed and he drove me home. On the way home he said his stomach hurt and long story short... He how do I say this tactfully, he crapped his pants. Luckily it happened close to my house so I only had to be in the car for a minute. He dropped me off and I never heard from or saw him again.
21 Reply1.2K opinions shared on Dating topic. I am married now but I remember few years back this guy brought me to a fancy roof top restaurant and offered to pay for the whole thing. When we were looking at the menu, he looked anxious and nervous thinking I might pick the most expensive meal lol. I ordered something simple, and a cocktail too. I thought we were supposed to head back home but one of his friends invited us to join them celebrating her farewell party. He didn’t mention anything about sharing the liquor shot so I assumed that he was fine paying, plus It was not my plan to go somewhere else after the date. Three days later, he texted inviting me to go out with him again, which I declined because I was not free. He sounded pushy and desperate, which I found strange. He then sent me a long text cursing and insulting me, calling me gold digger. He proceed by blocking me before I even get to reply him. I suspect he assumes I used him for a free meal lol and wanted to get rid of him.

6 moI was extremely nervous because I was always very fond of this certain girl and finally asked her out. She was perfect on the date but I proceeded to get black out drunk! She drove my car to her place and let me spend the night. On the way to her place, I guess I grabbed a bag from my back seat and put it over my head, because I was ashamed and didn't want her to see me. The next morning I was humiliated and ashamed but she was so cool about it lol She said if that's how I am when I have too much to drink, she can handle it! She actually thought I was funny and lighthearted... we're married now!

6 moShe showed up looking grumpy and with a long face. Little to no eye contact. While we were waiting for our food, she gets a call on her cell phone, which she answers. Ten minutes later, the lady who called her shows up. (She didn't say the call was from her and she was coming over to the restaurant also.) Kind of a good thing that lady showed up because she was with her when I first met her a couple of weeks prior. I think at that point I had more of a conversation with that lady who showed up rather than the lady who I was supposed to be on a date with. The lady who showed up looked a bit puzzled over her friend's grumpiness. I emailed her the nest day and asked about how she was feeling or if she was OK or whatever. She answered some gibberish with no capital letters and no punctuation. Weird.

8.4K opinions shared on Dating topic. I met a girl when I was hanging out with some friends. She was the friend of a friend. We seemed to hit it off. She was a couple of years older than me but I thought she was pretty and nice. I ended up giving her a ride home and I walked her to her door. I was just about to aske her out when she invites me to a party on Friday that she and her roommates were having.
So I go over there on Friday really looking forward to hanging out with her.
She ends up ignoring me the whole night, spending most of the time talking on the phone with somebody and crying.
I ended up getting really drunk and just left without saying goodbye.20 Reply
6 moI was on one blind date, we began tearing each other apart straight away, he started it, I might add. I got angry with the ones who had set us up in the first place and called when he was out of sight, they came up with a plan to rescue me, but for a while there it looked as if he actually thought he was going with me.. !

6 moNo I'm Mexican I I have spent my life drinking. but for some reason I attract a lot of girls from all ages. once I was in the border minding my business sitting down then a random girl sat by me we started talking later she tells me she sells her self. If she didn't I would easily take her out to eat.

6 mo@itsannalee as you'll know me by now, I got stood up once by a random woman on a dating app - 😂😆 she claimed later she changed her mind. In hindsight, came across to me like they were just trolling dating apps for god knows why, you know, - they were real - early 20s, yet even facially, I remember she instantly to mind screamed automatically "I'm a player / I'm a deadbeat"

All many years ago now
13.2K opinions shared on Dating topic. I did a bit of online dating. None were terrible. The most annoying was the woman who had posted a picture that was about ten years and a hundred pounds in the past. Another had checked "a few extra pounds" but she was about 5-3 and 250. Then there was the nurse who showed up for our lunch date with her teenage daughter. I wasn't very nice about that -- I mostly talked to the girl, who was a lot more interesting than her mother.

6 moI had a car, the reverse gear went bad and I was unable to use reverse, I had a date a week later and drove the girls house. Luckily, her driveway on a slight incline, I pulled in head first. On our way to the car I tossed her the keys, I said I need you to steer while I push us out. After, I explained the situation and she thought it was hilarious! We dated for about one year and are still friends.

@Nikki1989 I met a lady online several years ago and we talked on the phone several times before meeting up. She said that on occasion, she would take Xanax for anxiety. Well, when we me up for lunch on a Sunday, she must have taken her "occasional dose" right before meeting up. She was kind of zombied out and I really don't recall her saying anything. I said something funny and I did see the corner of her lip rise as if to attempt to smile. LOL

6 moThe guy was easily 10 years older than stated and wasn't able to hold a proper conversation. Mostly just awkward silence.
