Do you believe in soulmates, or do two people simply choose each other?

If you do have a soul mate, it doesn't necessarily mean that they live near you, or even in your state/country. The problem is then, how do you find them, if you even can?

"Two shall be born the whole wide world apart,
And speak in different tongues, and have no thought
Each of the other’s being, and no heed;
… that one day, out of darkness, they shall meet
And read life’s meaning in each other’s eyes".

I believe a few people have soul mates. I think everyone else just has to pick wisely.

Personally, it's hard to say. You absolutely can not just choose or not someone in terms of falling for them. I know you can feel significantly stronger about one person compared to others. I hoping that I can feel that way about someone else, if I can't have my desired target.

They don't exist. The average human used to not travel far from their birthplace. Now people can travel globally with ease. So either soulmates started magically spreading globally once global travel was available or soulmates don't exist. Magic doesn't exist.

People usually meet soulmates after they have already met and have gotten to know each other well, which might take years.

There's no consciousness creating people for a purpose. We just choose each other. Sometimes it happens what we are in a happy relationship, but then meet someone new and they are a better match. Then we have to decide whether to stay or to go.

They choose each other because they feel like they are soulmates

Yes, I have two of them.

People choose.
