Rant :
I failed the university exams. Funny. And I've passed all the subjects. It's just that during regular exams, I gave all the written papers, except the last exam which was practical. Few weeks later, I appeared for re-examination for the practicals. I still failed.
Because there's a new University rule that says you've to take all exams in one go, even if you're sick. So mom dials the head of the department, the psychology prof who calls himself feminist.
Who went onto mansplaining. On how I didn't ask him before reappearing for practicals. How apparently even if I pass the other subjects, I am still suppose to retake them all. How I'm "unresponsive little girl" (to his bs, but he must've forgotten to add it's his fault ") and the university who told us it was his fault that he didn't guided me right, despite taking the re-examination form and fee, is just wrong, he's not to blame for my "carelessness " (that's manifested in all the papers and practicals I passed, he must've forgotten to mention that too! How cute). Mom was super pissed not because he asked to take all the exams again (which I've passed, Jesus fucking hell), but for his habit of mansplaining. The issue I've already discussed with his wife, the question as to if I've to take all exams if I was absent in one, his wife's also a professor in psychology who also did not guide me on the matters.
And of course, now my father's joining the team of gaslighting on this issue, and if I don't graduate, I'm apparently worthless.
And no, I can't study psychology elsewhere. There are few options in psychology college education wise, and none of them have English medium. So it's them or nothing.
Also did I mention he doesn't have the decency to apologise for wasting my time and money? Because, guess.
Conclusion: I'd rather be an undergraduate than study somewhere that encourages manipulative people. I mean, guy literally said "she never asked me anything about exams and didn't keep in touch" when I literally saw him every day, asked him a million times on what can be done regarding the reexam before appearing.
