She was clocking me out while she was on the phone and she blew me a kiss and said thank you. Also she recently got her hair done. Somewhere in between me getting my interview and me starting. What does this all mean?

disclaimer: I am not creeping on her. I find her attractive. But she is way out of my league. She makes more money plus she’s hot af. And I find my job to be very important. I want to be there for a very long time, to rack up experience for my culinary career. My dream is to be a chef.

It's just a flirtatious gesture. She probably has a fun-loving personality. Plus, some women take on a motherly role with guys. I know I tend to be more nurturing and I don't consider it sexual to blow kisses or say how someone looks handsome, cute, or attractive. Everyone needs to feel good about themselves and men are oftentimes excluded from compliments, or attention in your case. However, she might be aware of how "hot" you think she is and her blowing a kiss is just simple teasing. She might even think you're attractive, but it would be extremely unwise of you to pursue your boss despite her advances.

It seems like you're just over-complicating everything. Let's face it, you're the new guy. She finds you attractive, but she's also obligated to act professionally. Yesterday was lapse in her judgement.. and maybe she realized that today. So, rather than to lead you on, or have you make an advance, she's choosing to remain distant. That may come across as cold, but ultimately, you're just a stranger to her and I'm pretty sure she wouldn't want to get you into any trouble.

It's not appropriate for bosses to flirt with employees. I had four professional offices at one time, and hired only attractive young women, because they were all secretaries or receptionists, and never even tapped one on the shoulder in 39 years, and never allowed myself to be alone in the office with one, or gave one a ride home if she needed it.
