Fortunately, that's not really an option in the STEM world. If I hired a woman just because she was willing to sleep with me or give me a blowjob, from then on, it would be pure hell. First off, if she has to do that to get a job, she isn't qualified. So, now I made the hiring decision on an unqualified engineer who is either not doing anything or worst of all, is out doing bad work. That's dangerous. Secondly, if things go sideways, she might just go and tell HR how she got the job and then it's all over, and right quick.
So, I don't think people in real jobs that matter accept blowjobs or favors to get hired. They are morons if they do.
In the real world people do compromise to move up. I have witnessed it. I never did it that's why my salary and position isn't what it should have been
@julieboerd, the qualification for the presidency is defined in the US Constitution. You must be 35 years old, be a citizen, and must win the electoral college in a presidential election. That's it. If you support democracy then you support the democratically elected president even when its someone you didn't vote for (or wouldn't have if you were old enough to vote). Obama was not the most qualified for the job either, but, he won the election - twice. Senator Bob Dole was *far* more qualified than Bill Clinton but Clinton won the election - also twice.
Lol ok but both Clinton and Obama were politicians so was Reagan they knew how the political system worked they knew how to talk to people and other countries Trump is a business man kind and actually not a vear good one if u think about it every time one of his business gets in trouble he declares bankruptcy and walks away like the Trump Airline, casino I might be only 15 but I can read and have a opinion it you might not agree with me and I might not agree with you but isn't that one of the Best things about this country 😀 oh and buy the way your a poopy head lol jk
While previous political experience is the most common route to the Presidency, nothing in the Constitution or federal law requires it. I agree that Trump's business record is varied and not exceptional. I'll be completely honest -- when I stood there in front of the ballot with Clinton and Trump on it, my feeling was that we all lost that day.
Bankruptcies is pretty wise, if you liquidate resources yourself, it's far less efficient and valued than how bank values it. Airlines are a debt driven buisness (as well as casinos) and I would think you would like to liquidate and declare bankruptcy as quick as possible. Besides, if you calculate losses he didn't lose much. How do you end up with a small fortune (in airlines)? You start with a big one.
