Uh, research everything you can about the company so you don't have to ask any dumb/obvious questions about it and maybe you will come up with a question based on your research that shows you bothered which will make you stand out vs. most applicants.
I think most of getting a job is determined before you even get invited to interview. Which jobs you apply for is key. Apply for a job where 500,000 other people looking for jobs can do the work and it's way less likely that you get the job, regardless of whether you get an interview or not. Apply for a job where only 10-30 people have those skills & are looking for work and things are way more likely to go your way. This is also about timing. Better to apply for a job right after it's posted than 2 weeks later. Some industries are different tho.. cause the fewer the applicants the less a week matters. But still early is better than late.
And you gotta be likeable. People want to know that you're easy to work with. And usually they don't want to hear anything about what you want.. until after they have decided that they want you. So when you say things matters. Make sure you are mentally prepared to not come across as needy/demanding.
Thanks I definitely need to research more on these companies.
I learn all I can about the company so that I can talk intelligently about what I can offer them, that they may be lacking. Always make a positive presentation of yourself. A suit, tie, shined shoes, clean shirt. Let them ask their questions, and give concise answers, based on your experience. Thank them for their time when you leave. It's okay to ask for the job, with "when can I hear from you?"
Thanks, I don't really own as many suits but I try seeing if I can find something which I can wear as a alternative for a suit.
Thanks DaveToo! I definitely look at the company website

Don’t be late, do research about the company and the people you are interviewing with ( if you know their names beforehand), Know your resume and be prepared to talk about your work history, Know your career goals ( they may ask what your passion is and where u want to be in 5 years), know the salary range you’d want, loosen up have fun and be yourself.
Dress appropriately, professionally.
Do some research on the company you are applying for.
And have some questions to ask the interviewer.
Good luck, bro. (I followed you by the way.) 🤙🏻
I put on my suit and comb my hair. I show up ten minutes early. I try to answer all questions honestly.
Thanks I definitely think that it quite a helpful advice.
Walk around the house muttering to myself and making horse-mouth-like noises. Then I change outfits three times. And regret the second cup of coffee.
I can understand the outfit and coffee but what do you mean by making horse noises should I basically just talk to myself or something? 🤔
There's no word for the noise. But kinda like this:

Oh I understand now, by horse noises you were referring to an actual horse growls.
It's not a growl. It's an energy expenditure. Sometimes frustration, sometimes happiness... impossible to define as just one thing or use. But it feels good.
Take a moment to think about your answers and ask questions to help qualify what they are looking for. As a manager, it was important to be a problem solver.
I actually never had one... not a proper one, lol
What do you mean? Do you have a business you are talking about or something?
I am the interview, hee hee hee haw
