What was something you wanted to do growing up or fresh out of high school that you didn't do?

The army, navy, marines or airforce. I was a color guard and rotc in high school but surprisingly didn't go into the military after. Which would've been awesome because I could've done my nursing career through them. Or could've been an officer after I completed my nursing which I did at 19.

I didn't go because at thr time I was not interested in leaving my family at all.

I always wanted to do a month abroad, with school etc.
With 16 I begged my mom, so I could start working and save money for this, she didn't allow me and promised she would pay me that.
Later my ex stepfather promised to arrange that and pay for it and he even "had something" and I should organize the school in Australia etc and I did but then I learned that it was all a lie and he didn't do shit.
After that I begged my mom for one week in London but yeah guess what.
Now I'm too old for something like that and missed all my opportunities.
