This proves what i have been saying , public schools are too violent and dangerous. Home school via computer.

If I was a judge and when a fight case comes up in front of me , it would cost Jefferson County $1,000,000.00 each kid attacked.

I guess if we use Democratic reasoning , we cut off the hands of the violent person , since the hands attack someone.

Yep , 14, 900 fights in one school year. Now imagine what LA, Houston, New York City , and Chicago. My kid (if I had one) Ain't going to die that way. Schools want 50% of your home , but won't provide security. So, Teachers need a cut in pay or they stop building soccer fields and arenas.

I worked in a K-12 school district and once there was this kid that was being bullied. The bully beat this kid up so he went to the police and wanted this kid charged with assault and battery which is what it was. The cops actually went to the school and arrested this kid and brought him to the police station. The kid had to call his parents and they had to get an attorney and the parents had to take time off work to go to court. I don't know how it all ended up but I suspect nobody ever messed with this kid again. The problem is school officials just think it is "kids being kids". It is assault, plain and simple.

Gang culture is allowed to flourish. Kids don't get expelled permently. Teachers are afraid. Students are victimised

I guessed 500 because it's an urban area. One of my kids goes to public school and the HS had zero, JH had 1.
