Do you think the cadets need to be educated about Critical Race Theory or should they have left things the way they were?

Heard about it, and this is not good. The military is not the place for social issues and movements to be taught. Back in the day when you went through basic, you were all treated the same, man, woman, skin color, doesn't matter. We have designated EO classes and personnel for command climate surveys and to take cases where examples of EO could be a deciding factor in a soldier's treatment.

CRT is dangerous and I see it as a cohesion breaker. We are supposed to be a team and be able to cover each other when shit hits the fan. You should have the back of your brother/sister, be able to do their job, your job and the job of your superior to keep you all working as a well oiled machine. By using a concept that also targets "whiteness" you are effectively alienating and isolating anyone white and in turn shifting preferential treatment to others which takes away equality and in turn competency potential of others.

Cadets don't need this bullshit. They are being trained to be officers. To lead soldiers and delegate tasks and assess unit composition and strength to allow themselves to be ready for whatever their mission entails by providing training plans to go with reinforced training over basic soldier skills that are perishable that can be forgotten if not practiced frequently to keep them fresh. Standards are already low across the board along with recruiting and retention. The last thing we need is this worming it's way into an environment that has no place for it. The military's purpose is to maintain readiness both medically and combat wise to go along with being able to defend our nation in short notice, to be able to effectively and swiftly execute and achieve mission success.

In less PC terms, be able to kill people and break their shit if it comes down to it. Not sit in a classroom and talk about privilege and race bullshit. That is what we learned as kids back in elementary school.

Sun Tzu said Know the enemy and know yourself in a hundred battles you will never be in peril. When you are ignorant of the enemy but know yourself, your chances of winning or losing are equal. If ignorant both of your enemy and of yourself, you are certain in every battle to be in peril. How do you expect military leadership to strategically and tactically plan information warfare against the enemy and make appropriate battlefield decisions in the current war, if they don't know how the enemy thinks?

Mission first. Respect for fellow servicemembers. Preserving a free way of life. Not one of these values has anything to do with bogus CRT, and CRT only helps to water down every one of those values, which in the end only endangers lives, and threatens our liberty. Simple as that.

I have not heard that cadets are educated in CRT. How factual is this I am wondering. I really don't believe all that much of what I hear. Especially lately. In order to get into West Point you have to be pretty "bad ass". I don't think the typical cadet would buy into CRT.
