Am I crazy for crying as I apply my not even 1yo for Pre-K at one of the best schools in my area?

So my son isn't even a year old yet, he will be 1 in late February. The best school in my area has a tuition rate of $6k-32k (depending on grade level) & starts accepting kids at age 3 for Pre-K. It has a 6-9:1 (depending on space) student:teacher ratio & a 70% acceptance rate, the sooner you apply the better. They have scholarships & financial aid available for people who need it, knocking tuition in half or more. To top it off 100% of graduates from this school go on to accredited colleges with almost all tuition paid.

There are children there from more than 20 countries & the campus is 300 acres. If you're local you pay less & don't have to pay room & board.

There's an interview that my partner & I would have to go & do so they can meet us & our son.

Am I crazy for crying about this? I only want the best education for my son.
