It’s been a 1-1/2 week should I call my hiring manager?

I applied for a job a week 1/2 ago for part time cashier. After the interview process, the hiring manager called me back 2 days later. But I never returned the phone call because I’ve been dealing with a lot of emotional and mental stuff. That I took bed rest.

Now I want to call the manager back about the job. But am worried of getting rejected.
Should I call back? What will happen?

Look for another Job, apply somewhere else, as you not answering the call, looks bad, and plus he could have found someone else by now, so i guess ur chances are 10% to 0... Is goin to look like you're not trustworthy, not interested in the job...🤷‍♂️

If you apply for a job, and when you get a call from them and you then don't reply, I'm sure they figured you got a job somewhere else and gave it to another person. I would just reapply for another job. Who knows, you might find something better.
