I work from home and my boss said she hopes to one day meet my cat in person - is this weird to anyone else?

I have regular zoom meetings with my boss, and she often sees my cat in the background. We are not friends, though we often discuss our personal lives in the meetings (including our pets). My cat showed up in one of my meetings, and she said she one day hopes to meet my cat in person. Is this weird to anyone else?

But hey, she sounds like she's just being friendly. If someone said they were hoping to meet my doggy in person (he's "up there" now), then I probably think they are weird but he did love meeting people... that wasn't huge as a funkin' giant

Not weird at all. She's showing a genuine interest in you, her employee. And it sounds like she likes cats.
