Yup. Grew up dirt poor, while my drug criminal father - who I'd almost never see growing up - once left me behind a huge inheritance in 2005; $150,000!
I was going to be really smart with the money; invest it and really use it wisely to fix my life, but then the IRS came in, claimed it was stolen drug money from him, and seized it all from us, which was total BS that pisses me off! I was only 18 going on 19 at the time, too! It was a month before my 19th birthday in November, in fact!
So I went back to being poor again, and only had a few video games and PS2 to my name, from it all.
I also sued my first university in 2015, after a wrongful expulsion based on woke hearsay. After a three year lawsuit, they settled out of court in 2018 and paid off my lawyer handsomely, but all I got from it was $43,000 in a partial tuition refund; none of which I could spend myself and all had to go towards the new university I was in, as the corrupt university would only directly pay the money to my classes. Another case of me getting f*cked over.

I have with my father who got so sick in my 20s. I wasn't a reckless spender and more of a saver (though not a business-savvy investor). I spent all the things I saved that I might have enjoyed in my 20s on his hospital bills and also his home after.
Moved out when I was 18, i tbought it was going to be breat. I was earning $2,000 or more a month. What I didn't relise how expensive everything was.
I also had a serious clothing buying addiction. By the time May came along I was in debt, hwbing to walk to work, having to vo to a food bank, working 2 jobs, in a shitty relationship and got pregnant (from not taking my pill properly).
I was in college at this point as well amd it was to much. I would like to say that it has gotten better but it hasn't. I still am in debt and struggling. Takeaway the clothing addiction. We didn't keep the baby and I am still in the relationship after being cheated on. I am most definitely lost.
A couple times. Medical emergencies happen. House repairs happen. One year we had a $15,000 sewer repair, then $4000 to remove trees so it didn’t happen again. + about $30,000 in other we had to pay upfront and didn’t get a check for 18 months. Insurance doesn’t cover damage outside of the house here and take forever to reimburse you for repairs done earlier to prevent further damage.

No I've always hover around 20 but I definitely plan on getting to that hundred which tbh I'd be happy with 50
Nope, I've always been solvent... in debt perhaps, but never insolvent.
For a short time, yes. I went under -200€ once, and my bank made me pay harshly for it. It lasted only 2 weeks tho, and it taught me a big lesson. Since then, I've never been in negative again.
Back in my poker playing days yeah. i always like to say poker taught me money management. 🤣
I’ve spent $11,000 dollars in the past 30 days and counting
No, I was never at 100. I've been to the point where I had no money in the bank.
No, I don't take big risks, so I don't see that happening.
When I was 18 had an insurance payout, a little over £3k, fun few weeks before I'd spent it all
