Ya prob think I’m playing, but I’d be so happy working at Blockbuster 😂 I was only a kid when they existed but I miss that place man. It was like a dream job to grow up and sort movies in alphabetical order. Heck I used to do it for fun at the grocey stores, diving into the dvd bins and shit. But I think I would’ve snapped at the people who scratched up dvds and didn’t rewind tapes 🤣 Other than that, I would’ve liked to run a lingerie store, host a late night radio show, become a professional film critic, design showrooms at an interior decor store, and be a xXx-rated couples therapist on the side. #FeelFreeToList
Oh that is a good and really tuff question but if I can really get the exact same amount of money for any potential career of my choosing they would be as follow I will be going to my least top choice to my most wanted too choice.
5. Actor (I wouldn't mind acting in movies or shows but it's isn't the most realistic choice.)
4. Opening up a cafe shop ( Sojiro Sakura from Persona 5 has me interested in creating my own coffee shop of course I actually want it to be inside of a physical building instead of just buying coffee in a online shop.
3. Opening my own video game store ( I generally think it be cool to run my own video game store I am a huge gamer.)
2. Game Developer (This one would be really cool but again I very difficult profession to get into.
1. Film Producer ( My top career goal that I really want to achieve but it's will be difficult if I can't logically achieve it I have to think of other back up careers.)

I'm currently an executive assistant after 22 years on active duty in the U. S. Navy, some time at a non-profit, and three years working on Capitol Hill. I really enjoy my job. (Thinking of @msputiton recent question about loving job.)
But, I love this question. What would I do if I wasn't doing this? I hope it's not cheating but I'm tied on #1 so I'm doing a total of six:
1. Author
1. Middle School Teacher
2. English Professor
3. Commercial Airline Pilot
4. Train Conductor
5. Architect
Blockbuster will never not be a good memory 😂. It’s like universal.. in the us lol
My list:- Formula-1 driving (Idk- I just would’ve done it if it paid well to catch an injury, and afford good materials, to prevent high-rates of damage/ injuries)
- Horse Racing (would pay not based on chance, or anything like that)
- Olympic Track Star (it’d have to pay so well, to last me after retirement too lol)
- Movie theater! (because it’s just a nice environment I appreciate. Wish it paid better)
- Zoologist (granted, it was ethical also)
That is a hard one
But I will say
1. An artist not of any one type, but of varity of forms
2. A software developer for Open Source (I am a software Developer :))
3. A director for movies
4. A superhero (well less super, but a vigilantiy anyway 😅 calling in justice)
5. A pro sports, possibly free running and/or video games

The one regret I have and it isn’t really a regret, but it is not going into electronics when I was younger. I started to join the Air Force and go into electronics but I missed it by two points on the test. They would not let me take it over so I didn’t take the oath and that one step forward. I was a senior in high school and would be drafted after graduation anyway. As it turned out before graduation they started bringing them back from Vietnam.
so electronics would be first then HVAC which is what I do now. Woodworking, programming and writing…. What a mix…
Honestly, my current job would be top of my list, but more picky about the gigs I take. I'm a lighting designer for theatre, corporate events, non profit galas, fashion shows, etc.

I was the same way, I wanted to work at block buster too. It sucks that those stores have closed down and there's no more. I don't believe they would ever make a comeback because we have Netflix, Hulu, etc...
I also wanted to work in a skating rink when I was younger, but as I got older I saw less and less of those as well.Lol! This is great!! And I love your choices! I got for 1.) a pilot, 2.) a landowner and getaway resort owner, 3.) a massage therapist/nutritionist/life coach/ sex therapist, 4.) photographer, and 5.) a fireman… I think that about sums up all of my interests and for a bit I had hopes of combining all 5.) of them lol!!

I already operate as if this is the case. I am working on several sequential start-ups in the area of technology and innovation, not to make money per say, but to help position my family, nation, and the world to better meet the challenges of the future.
