Normally its easy. I blast music and I’m up dancing. But today a mf tired 😂 I work til late tonight and just rolled over to beat tf outta my alarms lol. I slept horrible last night. Supposedly 8-9 hours but lots of sweatin/tossing/turnin. My dreams was pissin me off since the restaurant kept fckin up my order. Then i was forced to get dressed for a group pic with coworkers. I went to get dressed for the photoshoot but ended up at a gym lettin an ole crush fck me through my pantiesss as i rode him on some kinda machine. Music gets me up.
Sometimes not just any music but the songs that remind me of New York, something rich, a happy place, a summer night, a party and stuff.
- Sometimes a direct shower and/or cold water to my face.
- Drinking/ chugging a bottle of water as soon as I wake up.
- Having enough time to walk (and wander honestly too if need be) outside and get the blood moving.
-When we are laying down, our heart rate kind of slows and our blood circulation is not at high gear. That’s probably one of the biggest reasons we feel that ‘sluggishness’ when we wake up. We also dehydrate over night. Breathing out water droplets and losing moisture too, even if we’re not sweating directly. Drinking a bottle first start, definitely helps replenish a bit. Consider any drink high in electrolytes if you wish. Teas also help with alertness and are good, natural immunity boosters.
Eating a nice crunchy meal or something that wakes you up, like a salad with that “popping” Italian dressing, or a chewy apple should help us gain some focus (to chew it), get our immune system working to burn up the food, send some vibrations up to the noggin’ 😂.
All of these are good options to try 👐 and some that I do, occasionally. I usually just stick to the water method and music, but I’m willing to give the others a try and make them all a part of my daily routine.
It’s not a question of wanting to. It’s literally just starting up the engine 😂
and the music is usually also a nice mood booster. It’s not always the mood boater but occupying our mind/stimulating our mind with a positive before our actual work day starts.
If you don’t like walking so early, try to have something you work on (mini project/hobby) that you can do before your transition for the day. This helps you to look forward to something and not feel as if, the things you don’t always like, are the main part of the day.
Lately, every now and then, GaG helps me get up, and questions like this are my booster 😂.
It gets me thinkin’ and I find it fun.Lets do it sis 😂 let’s get our engines going and live a fun life.

For school I make sure I schedule my classes in the afternoon or evening so I have no problem waking up. When it comes to work I have a list of all the things I want to buy and It honestly motivates me to go to work and make more money. Being able to buy everything I want is all the motivation I need to get my ass out the bed. And that only works for this job because with my regular jobs I had to force myself to go to work… but when I worked at Walmart the only thing that made me go to work was the fact that I could listen to music and talk to my ex boyfriend on the phone and just kinda goof off.

I can relate…. and it can definitely be a challenge getting up for work in the morning. And this time of the year (usually slow in my industry), it can make it worse (cuz everyone else took off and there are low expectations for the amount of work to get done).
I ease out of bed, get some coffee and a protein shake, take a look at a couple websites (this being one) and ease into the day. I also try to set some small goals or take some time to organize / cleanup my space.
(that dream sounds pretty HOT, BTW…. I had to read it twice 😅)
I never overslept nor missed a alarm/clock. My dad was in the air force, imagine how much discipline i have learned and how to respect time. Plus!

Likely my work see me as an asset and are ok with me coming in late sometimes (this week every single day :( )I have to take my meds at the same time every day or they don't work. So that's one. Then I have to pee. So I'm out of bed. Then, the cat is obnoxious and seems to want to eat and drink so the only way to shut her up is to go downstairs and feed her. Then: COFFEE. By that point I'm up and I turn on my work computer. I like the people I work with so it's not bad.
No real problem for me. If I have to get out of bed, well, I've the clock alarm going off, then I just get out, drink a big glass of cold water from the tab, and wash my face with cold water. The rest you can guess: toilet, feeding the cats and cleaning their litter, coffee, breakfast, etc. whatever needs to be done that day...
I am trying to get some kind of a workout routine going. Since I went back to work it is difficult to get up at 5AM and go to the gym. I have tried going to bed earlier and usually lose my resolve. Many weeks I have skipped the gym completely or just make it on one day. When you figure it out, let me in on the secret.

Well i more or less have this attitude of, "alright we got places to be, things to do, let's just get it over with". Basically how I've been going through everything in life and seems work out fine for me.
This morning was a hard one. Bed was warm, she was warm and cuddly. But work called. Its about where I want to be and how Im going to get there.
I work from home and pretty much set my own hours, so I get outta bed when I feel like it. Sometimes I get up early, sometimes late.

Not too hard if I made a commitment to something or said I was gonna do something when I get up I do it. I am very reliable person and I usually never late or absent for anything.
My little pet parrot doesn’t let me sleep in the morning anyway 😁. I like cuddling with her in the morning and get her something to eat. I follow the morning routine after.
