Do you think a 27 year old woman is too old to start university?

It depends on the purpose. For personal education, without the expectation of making a career out of it, no age is too old.
If the purpose is to train for a career, it's really a matter of how many years you plan to work in that career. At 27, you have more than enough working years left to make it worthwhile. Even at 50 or older it might be worthwhile.
I went back to college when I was in my mid-30s. At that time there was a strong trend for older college students. I estimated that the average age in my program was late 20s. There were several people in their late 30s. The oldest I know of was 52. That's just the major I was in, not the entire college.
Older students do much better in college. I suspect the reason is they are more mature and serious about learning. They also have a much better idea why they are going and what they want to accomplish. A high percentage of students right out of high school are only going because they think they're supposed to, not because they have a clear idea what they want to do with their lives.
As for being out of practice with studying, it will come back to you very quickly. That shouldn't even be a factor.
Hell no. 27 is still young. At 27, you might take it more seriously than when you were right out of high school, and you will probably do better because you already have more life experience and knowledge. I've heard of people going back and getting Masters and PhD degrees in their 70s.
I started community college part time (1 or 2 courses per semester) right after high school, but I was still in high school party mode. Some semesters I didn't go at all.
When I was 26, Ianded a really good corporate job without ever getting an AA degree.
When I was around 30, I decided to go back to take evening courses and loved it. I got along really well with other students and even became friends with some professors. I took some advanced placement courses and still wound up with the top grade in almost every course I took.
Never too old for anything. Go for it. If this is part of your plan to get to your end goal then do what you got to do :)
Nope. When I was at university I saw students there who were much older.

No. Although I'm not a woman (last time I checked), I started just before I turned 28! While I was there, I saw a few other people that were old enough to be my grandmother taking classes!! Age has nothing to do with going to college. If you wanna learn something only a college can teach you, go to college!!
I started law school when I was 28 years old and there is another user on this site who is, I believe, in his early 50's and in law school. As long as your mind is still receptive to learning, you are not too old!
No. Might actually be better if you can afford it.
Not at all. Learning can start at any age. 27 suggests to me you found your calling. Some people are unsure what they want to do for their career and need a little time to figure it out.
No age is too much to get an education and expand your knowledge and horizons
Knowledge is power & you are never too old to continuing your education.
NO, you are going to be in your 30s anyway. Wouldn't it be cool to do it with a college degree and a better future? Please DM m, e if you want, I know all about this.
Nope, I think it's too old to take on 100k of student debt though, so make sure it's a degree that matters of you're paying for it cash.
Personally I wouldn't, however to each their own.
Definitely not too late. What do you plan to study?
Absolutely NO! It’s never too late to study and 27 is so young that you’re in a great moment, do what’s best for you.
Nope. Stop learning, start dying.
Of course not... why would you think that?
No, you can go at any age
no, you have to go at your own pace!
No - you are never too old to learn
not at all.
