Am I too old for a semester abroad?

I‘m 24 and I‘m still a university student. After school I had to work a few years because my family needed money and unfortunately I couldn‘t afford to go to university right away. I’m really happy that I’m able to go to uni now and I‘ve always wanted to do a semester abroad in the US. I‘m thinking about applying for it next year. However, I will be 25 and I think in the US it is common to go to university when you are younger than that. I‘m scared that the other students will think I‘m too old and find me weird or something.. do you think I should apply or not? thank you!🤍🤍

You're never too old to do something with your education. 25 is not old either. I'm doing my masters starting in the fall and I'm 24. So yeah you can certainly do it at your age. It will be a good experience for you and anything to further your education is a good thing. Go for it!

i was 40 when I had the money to go to unie the other students were a bit off to start with but soon found I was one of them but with a bit more and the tuters also help me in that too
