In America we grow up with food and water (most of us) and so we think it's just that available. In countries where getting food and water is only occasional, then having food and water is appreciated more. Applies to anything like electricity or cell phones

Because for one most people in the states have never been out of this country, so they haven’t seen a lot of what goes on outside of America. Two, a lot of them grew up w food, water, indoor plumbing, etc. A lot of them, especially women cry about inequality while some lady is being stoned to dead in another country for cheating on her husband.
