I’m having a mini life crisis - what would you do in my situation?

I am having a turning 30 life dilemma or crisis or breakdown and I’m not sure what I want my next steps in life to be.

I have been given an amazing job opportunity which is my ABSOLUTE dream job after working and studying for 7 years and I am thrilled about it BUT I’m also considering staying in my hometown and meeting a man, getting married, having kids etc… but also want the job.

Any advice or what would you do in my situation? Thanks!!

Dang boo, that sounds like a legit crisis! Turning 30 is a big deal and you gotta figure out what you really want.

On one hand, that dream job is frickin sick and after working so hard, I'd wanna take it for sure. Job like that doesn't come around everyday.

But then family is important too. Settling down and starting that whole new chapter could be really fulfilling.

Here's what I'd do - take the job, at least for now. It'll always be there waitin if you change your mind later about other stuff. No guarantee you'll meet someone and be ready to settle right away either.

Go live it up in the new job and city! Meet people, enjoy being single, see where things go without feeling rushed. Then in a year or two check in with yourself. If itching for family life, job will let you move back with awesome experience.

Always trust your gut, but you got the best of both worlds this way. Take the open door now before it closes! Hope that makes sense luv, let me know if you need any other thoughts!

Go for the job! You know what they say about a watched kettle never boils! You won't be satisfied missing out on the job and sitting around waiting for Mr Perfect! As others said, maybe Mr Perfect is where your new job is at! And Mr Perfect would also respect you for going after your dreams and goals!
