ahh I got a skill I'd like to learn. Technology. I'd love to learn how to make basic youtube videos great. Like instead of just doing an answer like I'm doing here... I could make an entire video about it and just post my video here. It would give me subject matter to cover and I could go deeper than a whale's vagina into the subject matter. I did youtube before, but it was just me playing guitar. I sort of lost my ability to do it simply because of a computer change. Software moved on without me and now it's beyond me.

I mean it could be a cool hobby I could attach to all my other hobbies... like play my own music, make my own cartoons for it, talk all my shit, and troll like no troll has trolled before... or... drop my knowledge. Sheeeeeiitt, I could monetize it. I don't need money, but at least I could buy some sex dolls or something with the money.

To be honest not sure there is a skill I don't already know that would be worth learning. I have several thousand hours of welding, I am a master carpenter, I know masonry, gardening, cooking, survival skills for cold and hot climates wooded, desert and arctic. Foraging, hunting, fishing, trapping, animal husbandry, sewing, patching, quilting, biology, chemistry, calculus, trigonometry, physics, electrical, plumbing, master diver, navigation on sea and land night and day. First aid, trauma aid, plant identification, forestry. Actually you know what skill I could use tropics survival rainforest climate specifically I have been to several but never did spend enough time in those parts of the world to warrant learning what is and isn't dangerous. I know a fair number of plants that grow in those regions of the world but not all so that would be a useful skill to pick up

@spartan55 no just a different upbringing than is used today. My parents didn't believe in useless children that couldn't provide for themselves even with nothing. So they made sure I and my brother had as many skill sets as possible and used them as often as possible.

I'd love to learn survival skills, like how to hunt, trap, forage, skin animals, create my own shelter without fancy gear, start a fire using only sticks, farm, things of this nature.

Might not be the most practical thing but I want to be prepared for my zombie apocalypse and it'd help me to feel like a more complete man. I sometimes feel like a princess sleeping in my cushy bed and getting food out of grocery stores.
