Yes everyone does basic training, you need to learn to work as part of a team, help each other. It’s not all about fitness and marching, you learn how to build bonds quickly with different people so you can work effectively as a team. Yes you need to be fit, you need to pass basic fitness tests. Then you will have specific trade training, you need to learn to do things the military way.

Probably. My brother did nothing but fix radios in the Air Force and he had to spend a good bit of time in basic. He took basic in Biloxi and then was stationed in Phoenix (I think)
You are an airman first before you get specialized in a rate - so, yes, you would attend basic.
There are different requirements if you already have a bachelor's, master's, or PhD and go in as an officer
