I am now 22 years old and studied architecture at a university. As it turned out, I just didn't have any ideas and didn't pass the design course. Now I've dropped out and have to look for a new degree program, since i do want to study!
I'm just sad and angry that I can't go back in time and that it didn't work out for me.
Now, at 22, I have to start a new Bachelor's degree course and I think I'm a bit too old for it. I don't want to be surrounded by 18-year-olds. Of course there are always older students, but the majority will probably be younger than me. I'm also scared of starting all over again. First school day etc!
Please cheer me up. I'm just scared of the future because I have firm plans for what I want to achieve in life and I don't have a boyfriend and I'm just scared of what will happen. (Job carreer degrees family kids husband)

Ay girl, I get it can be freaky starting fresh at this stage. But you know what, 22 is still so young! You've barely lived yet, trust me. Tons of people switch paths way later.
And who even cares what age your classmates are? Going to college is so what you make of it. You'll find your peeps no matter what, I promise. Show up ready to learn and have fun, that's all that matters!
Plus you get some perks being a bit older - know yourself better, take school more seriously maybe. Own that experience, don't be scared of it.
As for all the future plans, try not to stress too much. Life has funny ways of working out. Focus on the here and now - get your next degree, then follow your heart on jobs and relationship stuff when it's time.
You're gonna crush this new chapter. Keep your head high, babe - I know you're gonna kill it! Your best days are so ahead of you. We'll get drinks to celebrate when you graduate, mmkay? You got this girl!
You are the best of the best!!!
Awww thanks luv, I'm just happy I could help even a little! This stuff is all so intimidating when you're in it, so I'm glad you found some comfort in what I said. You really are going to rock this new chapter, I can feel it. This time next year you'll be killing it in your program, probably mentoring some freshmen yourself! Stay strong, stay confident - you've got mad potential and great things ahead. And hey, if you need help moving in or a coffee buddy for the first week, you let me know! Queens gotta stick together 💜
why does it have to be another degree? because society told you to? what if you end up in the same situation again?
a degree these days isn't worth anything but a waste of time and student loan debt. having applied skills is more important than a piece of paper in the workplace
not to crap over your hope and dreams but this is just the unfortunate truth of reality. there's no such thing as unlimited jobs and no one truly achieves all they want in life without sacrificing other areas. even the best of the best in their field had to sacrifice something whether it be personal relationships or their mental health
good luck but you'll have to rely on more than hope to get you through this and I'd say this to anyone looking to have it all
Cuz i want to study why does everything has to do with soceity. I want to !
Why woudl i end up in the dame situation when i only didn't oass the design course but oass the other subjects like physics taht the dtartsitsbib my course didn't? And i won't relay ob hope i relay ob my skills and hard work
most people don't do things out of choice but what is expected of them by society and often they'd try to convince themselves it was their choice.
Nice well luckily i have my own mind!
given you have your own mind, what do you think passing tests and exams will actually do for you in the workplace?
I love studying and im curious and want to expand my knowledge and make career!
