Do you feel excited but scared too, when trying something new entirely? Scared for the fear of failure?

I am from engineering field. But I am preparing for MBA. And it is because of this my handler in the company I am doing my internship is giving me marketing tasks. Technical tasks too, but not that much.

He is like, you are anyhow going for MBA, so better to study and get better at what you will be learning in the MBA course 1st year. That will be beneficial for you. He says.

And I am completely new to this marketing area. So I am excited but at the same time a bit scared too. Of failure, you can say.

Also, how do you deal with the fear of failure?

Yes; new things can be scary or appear more challenging when you first start them.

You deal with the fear by acknowledging it and recognizing the risks and comparing them to the rewards. And some things you have to do, so I push through it that way.

scared? no... I've failed before, tried again and got it right... sometimes multiple times before the right one, part of the process as well

I repeatedly assure myself that not doing the thing right in the start is okay. I will learn through multiple iterations only. I know that. But still, it happens.

I want my masters, but don’t know what the next step is. I’ve been pushing so much to do a certain task at home my focus I haven’t been on anything else really now a lot of things are coming into Floracion, but I’m still directionless

I also want my post gtaduate degree in MBA marketing or finance. To be honest anything will work as long as I don't need to work in front of computers as engineers need to.

Also, I would prefer to go in banking sector. I find them really cool.

I'm always excited with new things. It's normal to be scared of the unknown but if you don't try, you'll never know and/or learn. So sometimes the best you can do is to keep moving and not look back.

Yes, but much more so scared. I’m a perfectionist, always hard on myself, and get furious when I mess up.

I know it’s okay to not be perfect, but it still gets on my nerves. And failure typically feels quite different than “not perfect”.
