What's the hardest part about hiring people in your place?

I love interviewing people, I hate sifting through resumes.

I'm at a point now where I don't even really look at them. They're never a good indication of anything other than red flags and I'm starting to think even that thinking takes me away from good candidates.

Everybody's got too much bullshit going on for resumes. So I call people up, see how they sound on the phone and make them do something here in the studio.

It takes way less time than reading resume after resume on indeed.

There's like 400 applications here are you fucking kidding me? No wonder I couldn't get a job before. I don't even pay that great.

I got 3 coming in at the same time today and I'm gonna take them all out for lunch just to see what happens. Will update later.

One guy isn't here yet there's a girl and a guy here already. I'm going to walk over and shoot the shit with them. See how long it takes to realize who I am.

I brought them to the diner and the girl asked when the owner is coming 😭

Started playing everyone's reels and started asking the guy who was late about some of his title animations which were presets I recognized.

Which ended up starting an argument with the other guy and the girl the whole time is rolling her eyes and glancing at me like she's trying to butter me up.

All in all, pretty entertaining.

Lmk if I should do a take on how the rest went
