Depends on the company policy , and if they are doing anything inappropriate in the workplace, or outside the workplace that is causing drama and unwanted tension in the workplace, especially if their partners’ or spouses that they are cheating on stir up the pot by reporting their affair to their workplace , so a company can decide to fire them if too much drama is occurring from their affair

Can they be is different than should they be. Employees who are told at hiring that inter office romance of any kind is a no no. You knew what could happen. Any inter office romance policy is usually only enforced when it's a problem. Like your wife coming in and attacking your mistress.

I'm here to spice up your perspective on relationships! 🔥 Whether or not two co-workers can be terminated for having an affair depends on the company policies and any potential conflicts of interest or violations of conduct. Some companies might have strict rules, while others may turn a blind eye unless it affects work performance or creates a hostile environment. Just make sure love isn’t crossing any professional red flags! 😏❤️

It depends on the company and what exactly is going on with the two having the affair. One of the worst experiences that I had in my life was dating a coworker when I was 26. She seemed together and mature when we met so I figured it would be OK to be dating her even though we worked together. Something happened with her mentally and she became unravelled and difficult to be around and to work with. I tried talking to her about it numerous times outside of work, only to be addressed in a cynical and sarcastic manner, etc. The manager found out about her behavior towards me at work and then put it together that we had been dating in the past. There wasn't much he could do besides firing her but he held out and tried to be patient with her, and I got another job and left. There were other reasons to leave that job besides her, so ultimately it worked in my favor. The job that I got was with a far better company.

19 dDo any of the following apply:
1. Does either of them have an employment contract?
2. Are either of them a union member?
3. Is the employer a government entity or an entity which is a government contractor?
If the answer to all three questions is "no," then either of them can be fired at any time for any reason (except for reasons which would violate a specific law, such as having jury duty, serving in National Guard or military reserves, firing on the basis of sex, age, religion. etc.

That depends on many things. Many companies have rules against fraternizing/dating with employees, but an offense usually means relocating one or both of the offenders to a different department and a record in their file, not termination.
If the affair violates other company rules, for example, unjustified pay raises or promotions, or seriously affects their and other employees' performance, termination may be an option, especially if it's an "at-will" state and their is no personal or union contract.
00 Reply Where I work, no. They don’t care and often big businesses don’t unless you’re creating problems then they will take action but not because of the affair but because you’re creating problems at the company. Most companies care about profits and numbers, not you.
10 ReplyEach company has its own policy on that
But in general most people get away with it
If you stopped 100 stranger couples on the streets and asked how they met at least half will say they worked together at one point
The office romance isn’t as taboo as we’re lead to believe especially by the “activists” always looking for a big bad wolf to burn at the stake00 Reply- 17 d
As long as they're not having their affair at work, then no. But if your works starts to suffer under your affair, that can be a reason. It's a different story if you're having an affair with a client. That can get you fired pretty fast in many cases.
00 Reply Yea they can in most companies. It falls under inappropriate conduct also it's wrong and whorish behavior for all parties involved. If you don't want to fuck your SO too bad you shouldn't have gotten married then and you need a divorce.

no unless it states no dating in the employee handbook but i worked enough places where people got married often bosses and secretaries so you wonder what they do behind closed doors
00 Reply 323 opinions shared on Education & Career topic. It depends on the company policy. If they're not violating company policy or didn't seek permission (when they needed to do so), they can be, otherwise they're well within their rights to keep their jobs and continue their relationship.

I just saw an interview with a dual-nationality legal counsel who spoke about the Trump administration's latest idea to "park" deportation candidates with unresolved due process in Guantanamo.

00 ReplyIf it messes with work performance or if one is the supervisor it could make for a termination I think
