When I was 23, I told my pastor my friend got 105% in math at Waterloo and my pastor accused me of lying in front of every one saying you can’t get above 100% in university math.

This guy is clearly ignorant of Chinese culture because there are truck loads of Chinese people in every university that are able to get 100% in each math class there. Its simply Chinese culture.

If truckloads are getting 100% then the course is too easy. Anyone outside of china could be forgiven into thinking it was a scam course designed to give people a qualification so they could apply to work abroad.

100% means all correct, zero error. Its impossible to get more correct than are on the exam. If extra credir is gained elsewhere it should be expressed differently to avoid confusion.

It's not unreasonable for someone outside of china to be ignorant of the Chinese education scoring system, most people barely understand their own countries
