Does sitting at a desk all day considered physical labor?

So my husband works 2 jobs because were struggling in this economy. His daytime job is sitting and using his mind. His second job is delivering groceries and packages. But he complains about how he works and has to work again but he isn't doing anything physical during the day. So to me its really a cushy job where he uses his mind and deals with stupid people.

Physical labour? No. Physically taxing? Yes. There is a reason office workers tend to end up with serious back issues.

It is also likely closer to sitting in class for 8 hours than it is lounging comfortably. You could just sit on a chair for 8 hours with one 30 minute break, maintain posture, and decide for yourself if it was demanding or not.

The human body eventually determines that it is. So if he is complaining now, it is perhaps the initial warning from his body to save it before harm is done.

Pressing a button once every 20 seconds with your thumb for 8 hours is going to, over the course of just some weeks, permanently damage your thumb. Our bodies are not built for repetitive tasks and so the button needs to be pressed in different ways or even that simple task will harm us. Sitting is the same. Sitting still is, amusingly, very bad for you.

His job using his mind is mentally exhausting and stressful, his second job is probally physically exhausting as he is used to a sedentary way of life with his first job sitting at a desk all day.
