I got 96 IQ test results does that mean I'm below average IQ?

1. Online IQ tests have very questionable validity and you should not allow this result to give you any concern.
2. On most respected IQ tests, repeat testing does not result in identical results because the tests are yielding only approximations of intelligence. A 95 score on one administration might become a 105 on a subsequent administration.
3. Although the average IQ score on most tests is 100, the average range of intelligence is usually 90-110.
4. Therefore, if this result means anything at all, it only means that you are in the average range of intelligence.
No, between 85 and 115 is considered “average”. 100 is actually a mean established well before IQ tests were widely administered. If you took the same test again, you might score higher or lower. You start to get a better understanding of your actual IQ by taking multiple tests. I recommend multiple standards too. Stanford-Binet and Wechsler are the most common standards, but i think there are five total. There are dozens of unofficial IQ tests floating around the internet. They’re free and kinda fun, but i don’t put much stock in the results. I treat them like practice tests. If you are very serious about knowing your IQ and what it means about you, seek official standards and proctors. There are tips and tricks for marginally improving your score too, if that’s important to you. Like taking those practice tests. It’s thought that you’re artificially inflating your score by increasing your test taking aptitude more than increasing your actual IQ though.
1) measuring IQ is about as pointless as counting the gears on your bike or how far the speedometer goes up in your car before a race to figure out if you'll beat your friends. some really smart people have done really stupid things and a really stupid person has become the president of the united states.
2) IQ is averaged by country. you may be a genius/plain dense if did the test somewhere else. pointless test.
3) you are average, so you are the kind of person who people expect to see, meet and talk to irl. you will likely have more job openings and find things in ads more appealing than non-average people. think about super tall people who always have to duck when walking through doors.
4) most people are average, so most people will expect most other people also to be average. sounds pretty good to me when trying to find someone you like.
Anyone going anon is below average in any metric.
Ouch.
A score of 96 on an IQ test is slightly below the average of 100, but it's important to remember that IQ is just one measure of cognitive abilities. It doesn't define your potential or capabilities. Different tests have different scores and ranges, and numerous factors, such as education, environment, and motivation, play vital roles in individual success. Focus on your strengths and continue to develop skills and knowledge that align with your interests and goals. Remember, intelligence manifests in various ways, including creativity, emotional understanding, and problem-solving skills.

Yes it does. Especially, as online tests rather let us look better than we are.
The good news: "IQ'" does not 'judge' people in their quality as an individual person 🙂
Don't put to much stock into those. Especially an online test
yes that's what it means but 96 isn't that far below average. like pratically you're still close enough to avergage that you can assume you're average in performance.
the average is 100 but you are in the normal range. don't sweat it.
Ask city to install and street sign In front of your house saying a retarded lives here. 😂
Joke from: Family guy
Take the actual proctored test and not some online version of the test.
The fact that you have to ask this question and not compare your score to the average that you quoted is alarming
You could get a different result if you tried again
There's a 20 point margin of error.
Yes, but IQ isn't everything
You should ask your general physician.
