My Favorite Guitar Solos of All Time

just_tired

When I say fay favorite solos I don't mean just face melting fast solos, I mean solos that are well crafted and work perfectly with the song. Now I'm not saying these solos are the greatest ever especially in this order, they're just my favorite.

Children Of Bodom - Sixpounder, Alexi Laiho

Starts at 2:20

Amazing sweeps, perfect transition, doesn't go overboard considering the song and just love the drums in the background.

HIM - The Kiss Of Dawn, Linde Lindström

Starts at 2:30

Again love the transition, not overly difficult or flashy and it takes its time.

Dream Theater - Blind Faith, John Petrucci and Jordan Rudess

Starts at 5:13

This is easily the most technically difficult solo on this list and on of the most difficult ever created and probably the longest on this list too. The solo goes between the guitarist Petrucci and Rudess' keyboard ending in the most amazing unison solo you will ever hear... Absolutely ridiculous!

Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb, David Gilmour

Starts at 5:05

My god, just... pure... bliss...

The Jimi Hendrix Experience - All Along The Watchtower, Jimi Hendrix

Starts at 0:00

I mean it had to be on the list.. One of the greatest covers ever and just pure guitar genius all the way through.

What are your favorites? I'd love to hear!

Here's a little bonus..

Have a good day :P
