I like Nirvana, but Kurt Cobain is dead. I like Alice in Chains, but Layne Staley is dead. However, Alice in Chains is still a currently touring band and I like them. So I went with my dad to see them tonight. They were touring with Korn as well.
But before the big bands, an introductory group performed. They were so energetic and abrasive, as well as humble to be there! My dad didn't like them though, and popped in earplugs rightaway. But he took them out once Alice in Chains started performing.
It was very loud. This was my first observation, and the last. In between was not silence, but a lot of noise too. I sang along to the lyrics I knew, individual voice lost in the midst of so many voices. For once, these singing voices could actually be heard by other people! And not just in my head! Yeaahhh :)
There were many interesting people. Lots of biker-looking people and so on. So many people were drinking, vaping, and smoking weed.
So many people were smoking weed, in fact, that I got a CONTACT HIGH!
After a while I felt embarrassed to be high in the presence of my father, however involuntary it was, and I left the concert part to go by the pavillion where you buy wickedly overpriced food and drinks.

I got paranoid being high on my own, though, and eventually decided to go back to the concert. But I couldn't find the seats my dad and I were at. By now, Korn was playing and their crowd was very rowdy, having a heavy collective intoxication level.
So I texted my dad and he eventually found where I was. It was all so loud and fun.
