Recently I was given this reply on a message "Awesome, you'll have to do a Mytake. So many people haven't heard of it (referring to Milo and Otis) but I'm pretty sure it's on Disney+ or Netflix"
With that, I would just like to do a mild Journey to describe exactly what this is.
So for starters it is a nature narration much like Disney nature films or movies.
But the narrator does the voices so its closer to Homeward bound the incredible journey. Which has Sally Field as a cat and Michael J Fox as a dog.
Of which Homeward bound the incredible journey and Disney nature films are both on Disney plus.
Now it's time to introduce Dudley Moore!
Sadly, this was place and point of his death according to imdb "March 27, 2002 (age 66) in Plainfield, New Jersey, USA"
But his voice can live on in films like Milo and Otis
This film is very simple. Film a dog and cat from birth to adulthood. Only they both escape from a farm together and go on a journey down a river after which trying to find their way back to the farm. It's very basic yet very fun to watch. To fully describe it is hard to do. It is simply a great movie to just start playing and let it draw you in. It's very similar to march of the penguins with Dudley Moore instead of Morgan Freeman and more talking on behalf of the animals.
Watch for it in this tri star promo next to all the rest of the classic films. Yes, it's that important. It is a treasured classic.

It is sad to me though that I recently discovered through looking into this that there was harm done to the animals in this movie. It is very sad to hear.

This movie was a staple from my childhood and to hear this was a pretty big downer but I choose to still look at this movie fondly and while it is an example of treating animals poorly, I choose to see it simply for the good that it was and not the bad. Not that I am trying to encourage how they were poorly treated but just enjoying the movie as a whole and supporting animal rights aside from it.

It is currently on Prime Video for 3.99 but I am sure it exists in other places too but not on Disney Plus unfortunately but it might be on youtube or dailymotion somewhere. and I have not checked but it might be on Netflix too. Have a happy Tuesday everyone :)
