I did this take before. It is time for some revisions to the list.
1. Fight Club. I love this film because of its humor, its attempt to delve into the male psyche, to try to get an understanding of what qualities we respect in men.
2. The Godfather. What else is there to say?
3. One Night in Miami. Regina King directs this masterpiece.
4. Kung Fu Hustle! Stephen Chow directs and stars in a flick that you have to see to believe.
5. The Revenant. Just a great film about the struggle to survive.
6. FlashPoint. Donnie Yen at his absolute best.
7. American Me. Easily one of the most underrated mafia films of all time.
8. The Magnificent Seven. Simply one of the greatest Westerns of all time.
9. One of the few non-action films on the list. A young "Black" man searches for his birth family.
10. Ronin. Just an awesome flick with hitmen, paid assassins, and mercenaries.
Honorable mentions; Fist of Legend, Posse, Training Day, Wall Street, Shane, Dirty Harry, Taxi Driver, Godfather II, Goodfellas, Tron, Wargames, Scarface, The Good The Bad and The Ugly, Braveheart, Casino Royale, Saving Private Ryan, Terminator, Road Warrior, Enter The Dragon, Reservoir Dogs, Blazing Saddles. . .
Wow, getting more responses from women than men.
Amazing. . .
I had to add Tombstone. I can't believe I didn't put it in the top ten.
