I think is good to have that kind of inclussion, but is kinda weird because we all grew up with some specific tipe of chracters so now it doesn't feel like those are the same
I really don't care as long as the story isn't based around the race, if you change the race when the story basically revolves around it (a loose example moana) it just looks distasteful
Great!!! It's been white only for the longest and quite frankly white people aren't the only ones out here. Hollywood needs to diversify itself. It's too white-washed.
Take a closer look up top woman, in some of these they too middle eastern characters and replaced them with white people or are you gonna tell me Egyptians are white?

Any of MANY changes are often made in a reboot/sequel/whatever of a successful movie. In their efforts to make movies more "timely" or "relevant", they typically end up with a poorer result for this any many other reasons.

It’s cultural appropriation BUT they would say otherwise as it shows their hypocrisy. They also cannot create great new characters so they steal characters and call people racist for not going along with it.

Eh, I like it when they stick with the original. I don’t like it when things get changed.
100% against it. If they want characters of a different race - nothing stops them from writing good movies with good characters that involve these desired races.
I find it generally annoying and unnecessary. People like these characters because of their concept art in the first place if you depart to far the dissonance is jaring and breaks suspension of disbelief.
In my opinion, it doesn't matter at all unless the character being a certain race is an integral part of the story.

I don't like white washing, I don't like casting a black man just because society wants it so. Let race be secondary and make the movie great. As long as the main character and others have sensible goals and are at least a little likeable, race doesn't matter.
Nothing good comes out of SJW propaganda or forced agendas in entertainment. Name me one successful movie that swapped races/genders of characters from its successful original
It doesn't matter to me what hollywood does. I don't watch any of their movies anymore. Their movies are trashy and so are those in hollywood that make the movies.
Why in the world is that Avatar: The Last Airbender one on there. That is ignored by all fans of the original show and shouldn’t be counted as a movie.

Looking through the pictures, I think it's rather about the facial features which are similar between the movie characters and the actors chosen.

I like the different perspectives, but I also like it to be the same as the original. I'm okay with it though, and I definitely think it's cool.
Unless it’s something culturally specific to the storyline like Pocahontas or Mulan or Princess Jasmine, I couldn’t care less. Humans are humans.

Race doesn't bother me but If I was replaced by someone with a notsocutebutt, it would suck :(

Inappropriate is a good word, its disrespectful to the original vision.

If it is part of the plot, like pocahontas, then I'd be confused. However, I don't think it really matters most of the time.
Doesn't matter, and everyone else who gets salty over it needs to grow up.
