Why do you like that track or song?

Mine is a piece called "Recollections" by Yamajet, featured in some rhythm games on the play store.

I like it because the normal time signature we all use is 3:4 or 4:4, however this piece is in 5:8. It challenged me to try something different other than my norm go to stuff, and im hoping that after i get familiar with this song i can expand into other odd time signatures. They are honestly fun to play around with.

I’m so in love with music this is hard to pick! Currently my favorite band is Glass Animals and it’s been one that’s in my playlist for a long time. They’re recent album is amazing. Think Tangerine is my favorite one currently.

I love a good beat with interesting lyrics. Glass Animals is Alternate Rock genre but I listen to almost any type of music (except country). I’ve played violin for about 8 years, though I haven’t been playing these last few years
Also been playing piano for a couple years

I kind of regret not learning the piano when i was given the chance. Now that i had to try to learn on my own, that is. What made you like piano?

I like how versatile the piano is when playing. Almost any song out there can be changed to be played on the piano since it has such a wide variety of octaves on it!

Also it just dawned on me that another music group I’ve been loving is The Crane Wives. “Unraveling” and “Never Love an Anchor” have just been going through my head a lot

yea freestyling on piano does feel great... just keeps going and going (especially for slower freestyles).

All these bands youve mentioned i have never heard of. Just goes to show how large the music landscape is.
