This middle age woman can be seen crying like a banshie yet for some reason the other people in the video keep trying to act like somehow the woman recording the video to protect herself is in the wrong? I find the video hilarious, top tire comedy. A+ acting on Karen’s fake faint. Someone should give this woman an Oscar or something.

She threw water on my dad and I. I could see it coming and my body wanted to just punch her or dump my drink on her before she tossed hers, but I just kept still.
I knew it'd be more trouble than she was worth to get in trouble for punching her - and my dad would've gotten really mad at me. I didn't want to ruin a rare coffee meeting for some Karen.
I did goad her a bit and pretended to take photos for the police (I later realized nothing would happen and deleted em in favour of more cat pics), and she made a fool of herself on a public road for my benefit.
We got free stuff from the coffee shop, and the other patrons kinda checked in on us. We all sort of agreed - she was way outta line, but anyone who acts like that is guaranteed to be going through some sorta shit.
I mean, sure, I was angry. I shivered for a good few mins because she tossed ice water on me. But at the same time, nothing I do will make her suffer more than she already makes herself go through. I don't have to lift a finger for her to have a rough life, she's already doing that.
I just don't need to care anymore. Does she get run over in the street in a tweaked out trip? Karma. Is she arrested and thrown in jail for something? Karma.
It's kinda more cruel, thinking about it. They think they're making people care or pay attention, but in reality they're just pushing even strangers away.
What catches my attention the most is the wide spread use of the word Karen. It’s a derogatory or rather inflammatory insult towards white women. I’m not personally offended by it, but it makes it seem as if there’s a double standard at place here. I don’t think we should create insulting terminology on the basis of race period.
Having spent some time in law enforcement, I feel pity for the woman despite her wrong doing. Being filmed when you understand the social tension knowing you’ll be the laughing stock of the world would cause most people to cry and break down. The fact that she knows her weakest point will forever be on the internet for the whole world to mock her would only exacerbate her episode.
I think we as a society need to stop being so shitty towards others just because they think differently or have a different value system. Tensions are high right now. A lot of people are mentally losing it due to family members that have been killed by covid 19. They’ve been isolated. They’ve lost their jobs. People are struggling.
The sheer hatred on the internet is especially a concern. Why have we as the human race evolved into laughing at other people’s weak points on the internet acting as if we’re much better? I don’t think this is funny at all. I think she’s clearly struggling with mental illness and it’s a sad sight to see. Whether she’s black, white, Republican, or liberal… that woman needs a hug. Someone needs to tell her it’s going to be okay and listen to her.
We should call out bad behavior, but we don’t need publicly shun and humiliate people at their weakest point for the world to see just to get clicks or because it’s popular. Over the past two years I’m honestly just so disgusted with society and how shitty we’ve become just as a species.

Dude no. There literally was context. The girl got mad over a bra, she shoved the girl that was filming with the camera and after the girl that was shoved was confronted she made a big scene. Started crying and threatening the other girl to call the police on her so she started recording to protect herself and after that she literally assaulted her, as you can fucking see in the god damn video.

So to answer your question, the woman bein filmed obviously started everything. If you look at the video when the woman filming tried to leave the other woman being film followed her while screaming leave me alone. Which makes no god damn sense, and I’m pretty sure everyone with two brain cells can tell she’s acting out for no reason. She’s not having an actual mental breakdown she’s just sad her bullshit got caught in camera.
She shoved her? Then let's see the security footage that shows that. And news sources I'm seeing can't confirm that, which seems like it would be pretty easy thing to do, all they say is "allegedly." How hard is it to call up victoria's secret and get an employee's account of what happened or something regarding security footage? Wouldn't staff and other patrons try to help the lady filming out more if "karen" really was instigating? The body language of everyone there is "what the fuck is happening?" when she starts filming.
And yes, she does charge at her, but I really don't get the point of following her around, keeping a camera trained on her. Conflict resolution skills nonexistent? Just leave for a bit or go to the bathroom or something and wait for her to leave. Pretty ridiculous that the "karen" was the one who called the police in the end and not staff or the "victim." Regardless, as far as I know a prosecutor is working on figuring out if a crime was committed so charges can be pressed. That'll be a better indicator of what happened than anything here. And this instance is a good example, as karens are typically "can I speak to the manager" troublemakers, not just some lady having a mental breakdown.

It's happened to me multiple times. I deliver pizza and when he opened the door I got out the receipt and my pen so he could sign it and he gives me this nasty look and slaps them out of my hand. He then yells at me saying I'm supposed to hand him the pizza first and starts going on a rant about how I don't deserve a tip. I out the pizza on the ground while he was still talking and walked away.

I agree with the other posts that this seems a little past just Karen, or at least the most extreme form of Karen. But with normal Karen’s the best policy is normally to passively go along with them. Its a little snide but 9/10 times they will run themselves into the ground and its always funnier if they got there themselves. I’ve been falsely accused of shoplifting or vandalising with no evidence enough times to know that not getting angry and fallowing procedure will always have the funniest results
Not sure🤔. I have never even come close to having that happen. I do know that in past history when a woman behaved like that in public she was punished on something called the Ducking stool. She would be tied to a chair and repeated dunked in the cold water of a pond or river until she learned how to behave in public. Perhaps we need to bring that sort of thing back. NOTE. Men were usually not put on the Ducking stool because if a man acted like a jerk in public he would usually get knocked out. Still is that way today. But because there are no consequences for women today we have women acting like Karens.

The woman that was crying had shoved the camera lady over a pair of bras and so the camera lady confronted her and after that she started threatening to call the cops so the camera lady basically took out her camera to protect herself once the cops did arrive
I have dealt with it many times. You just simply go about doing whatever it is you were doing. They rant and rave and make a big fuss but they tire themselves out in no time, especially if its's warm outside. Then I'll usually grab them a water or a snack because when my 9 and 11 yr old nieces get all fussy its because they are hungry and need a nap. Karen's always need a snack and they AAALLWWAYYYS need a long hard grown up mommy naptime.
I would try to peacefully separate myself from her and go on about my business. If things escalated then I would definitely defend myself with any means necessary.
