... sounds boring, no thank you.
I agree with B, C, D, E, F. I don't know how to vote. I guess I'll be nice and vote E. That's my answer to the men in my life who play AND are good people, with balance, treat me well, and do not ignore other important priorities. I can live with that.
what about women?
I don't know any females who game (my friends are about 20 years younger than me so don't say it's age-related.)
Females game more on mobile, when they do. They're on social media and messaging people more than gaming.
They've never, my whole life, ignored me, to game, the way that guys/boys have.
But in general... yeah, same things apply. I don't do double standards.
@AmandaYVR That's the case with me. I like to play games more on my phone than playing video games. I have so many of them, not just Cookie Jam and sudoku. I have other games like Differences where you're given two photos and have to find the differences between them and Tiles Hop
@Cherry234 Mmmm that 'Differences' sounded very interesting. I just looked it up. I used to play that, but in a throwaway softcover book form, that I'd take on trips with me and do when stuck on transit. It's fun. I also have a very, very, awesome, hardcover, challenging book, with all pictures drawn by an artist. Instead of differences, you need to find all objects starting with a certain letter of the alphabet. It would blow your mind, how complicated it is. I've had it for decades. It's stuck in a box, in my storage cage, in the garage right now, but it's like a game that never ends. Really makes you think. It has things not like "bird" but you need to name the specific breed/species as an ornithologist would - like 'red-winged blackbird.'
@AmandaYVR Sounds cool
"... is awesome and should be something everyone gets to do!"
Assuming you're into video games that is, lol. I sure wouldn't be opposed, if it's a game I'm really into and I've got nothing else going on. Trust me, in my 20s, I used to be "that person" that could play video games all day long and tune out the world and other priorities.
No, I'm not like that anymore. I have to be an "adult" and work, do chores, responsibilities, etc... but I still game when I can
As a Dark Souls fan i will say it's impossible for me to spend a day playing video games, playing Dark souls is a life training more than gaming, if you can beat Dark Souls you can beat any problem in your life, it teachs you patience and builds your will to do things and to learn from your mistakes, i just remember how many times i tried to beat "the bed of chaos" boss fight and i failed, it was about 14 times or more, i spent 100 hours in Dark Souls 1, but it took for me about 2 months to reach 100 hours gaming, avrage about 1 and half hour per day, and i was studying and it was encouraging me to do my best and yes i did so well in my exams and I'm waiting for results, so don't waste your time if you don't have it.
... was my weekend routine when I was 18(and a half)-20."
My little cousin also joined me but my aunt didn't let him play with me more than 3-4 hours unless we found an excuse. Like me teaching him 3D modeling or photoshot or working with CK that we actually used to make new armors or player homes.
It does happen these days, but rarely. Usually when my guy's away and I have absolutely nothing else to do or if I'm just stressed and have to say "fuck it".
Of course A) Sounds like a fun time depending on the game! I am a gamer since 1988. It's fun and playing eith friends is even better, even when we lose we are all laughing our asses off. Gaming is pretty underrated and gets attacked all the time for being "violant". Here is a challenge! Bring 4 people that never met each other before and let them play monopoly, then bring another 4 people that never met each other before and let them play mario kart! Let see which one is more fun
I don't play video games but I'm into certain phone games like Cookie Jam and sudoku. I used to play Poptropica but it can become very addictive so that's why I don't play it anymore. But I'm not too addicted to Cookie Jam and sudoku. I just enjoy them
Sounds fuckin awesome let's play a game together is what I would say. 😎
yesss you rock! lol
Spending a whole day playing video games... something I could afford around age 19 when I didn't have a girlfriend, and didn't go to college yet.
no regrets though... lol, videogames were great back in the days (at least for me.)
Spending a whole day playing video games with friends and daughter, eating pizza, talking shit and having a laugh with those we love.
memories ahhh. playing smash bros on the n64 with my buddies lol. i whooped their butts too
I’m in a few Clans for various games.
One of them an honorary member of an all girls team, where I go under name of Yennefer (of Vengerberg from the Witcher).
Fine as long as they aren't ignoring priorities in life (work, relationship, etc)
Honestly I'd find that boring, I'm not very much into videogames. I prefer to watch my wife playing, but even then if the game doesn't catch my attention I get bored pretty fast.
a whooooole day😵😵 i would last like 10 minutes😂😂
lol of course
"Should be on the pc" ;) jk but for a whole day, yeah no problem
excellent ;)
sounds cool. it was on pc?
Fine as long as they aren't ignoring priorities in life (work, relationship, etc).
Gaming, for me, is just like any hobby - watching TV, reading a book, going out for a bike.
Sounds fun, as a one-time thing.
Just don't make it a habit.
its a habit. but i don't let it interfere with my other priorities
Voted F. But to each their own and I wouldn't judge them.
Never had games hold my attention that long without frustrating me a lot or poisoning my dreams after, so I'll pass. To each their own.
Sounds like lot fun and look for some challenge to come my way
Spending a whole day playing video games sounds like the kind of waste of time I'd participate in
Fun to do on your down time don't get much time to game with work
