Why are gamers so immature or childish?

Like I play games for fun, i play games to let off steam but I like being with people as mature as me so I don’t like immature kids or adults that act like immature kids but i see so many Gamers who act like complete Kids and so immature… Like why, do video games shrink the brain? It’s even worse on Online games like Fps and MOBA games. etc so i don’t get it…

Yep thats why im one of the few rhat played all my stuff GTA, N4S, Forza, Sims, etc offline. People online are immature. I still prefer the days of inviting someone over to play the second controller against me on the ps2 or nintendo 64

My wife and I are childish? What? Why? Well, you might be right about me. I just play whenever I have a little time not all the time.. I would rather surf than play video games..

  When you are allowed to go into a blind rage every time things don't go your way, because you are anonymously behind a computer screen where no one can embarrass you for your lack of self control since they don't know about it, you end up never learning self control - which is at least a substantial chunk of maturity.
