Anyone analog horror fans here?

So I've recently gotten into the analog horror side of YouTube. I've watched The Mandela Catalogue (fuckin terrifying let me tell you), Gemini Home Entertainment (also pretty horrifying), The Monument Mythos (not as "horrifying" as the others but I'm absolutely in love with the story, it's probably my favorite of these), and Local 58.

First off I'm a huge horror fan, especially if something can actually scare me and make me paranoid, and secondly I love a good story and mystery and these YouTube channels have plenty of them. If you're also a horror fan I highly recommend checking these stories out. Also I've found a YouTuber that analyzes these channels and makes them a little more digestible and tries to make sense of them. I watched his videos after finishing the horror series, which are still ongoing. I'll link these channels below in case you'd like to check them out for yourself if you're not already familiar! I've liked Fnaf since it came out, and all Analog horror stuff is pretty good. Whether it's just creepy videos, actual games for it, or even books.

I just like anything with theory crafting. Though I do find it annoying there very obvious with a coping an idea already done, now it's impossible to not do that with all ideas already been done really so i don't mind it too much apart from Mandela that i cannot take seriously cause the whole time i'm just thinking so it's bird box.

haha it been like a Lovecraftian tale just means too obvious coping cause that's what bird box was aswell. But Gemini is pretty good with the Moon maybe been alive or something else with a planet and idea of somethings that don't quite add up.
But the body snatching alien aspect... Is a very over done thing. And I am sure there is one creepypasta or some horror story that came out before about basically creatures that imitate tree's which then learn how to imitate humans.
So that would be very much the same too. It's really some good videos though and I do like Gemini.

I love everything horror related but I didn't find anything scary about The Mandela Catalogue. Kinda overrated. Wendigoon channel is decent though.

Immersive Media. Usually horror media involves some sort of protagonist, something that reacts to situations for narrative use. Analog horror makes YOU the protagonist, which means that you are the person who has to connect the pieces and fear the outcome of the situation.

Analog Horror is a media genre that mimics the older "analog" style of video media such as old TV broadcasts, VHS tapes, or vintage film. However, it adds elements to the video that cause the viewer to feel uneasy when watching them.
